Photo essay: Atlantic Coast Challenge 2018

Photographs: Conan & Ruaidhri Marshall

Three marathons in three days along the Atlantic coast of Cornwall, what more could you wish for? With the route stretching from Padstow to Lands End (up to 78 miles), this autumnal race is the perfect way to admire the north coast of the county.

Photographers Conan & Ruaidhri captured day two of the event. Despite the strong winds throughout the day, the rain mostly kept its distance. Cornwall is increasingly becoming a hot spot for trail runners due to its wild coastline and rugged hills.
